Lips

In the spring runway shows most lips were pale. In the fall shows they were also mostly pale, and once in a while you would see some bright red lips. I don’t know if I would feel comfortable with lips in the same tone as my skin, but I do love red and my red lipstick is Maybelline 92/233. The shade of lipstick I love the most these days though is completely different.

It started when I was cleaning out my apartment. Make-up collected over years and years also had to be sorted through. Most of what I didn’t use was thrown out. One of the few things I kept was a pink lipstick from Clinique and I promised myself I would actually start wearing it. So I did. I soon discovered that I wanted one with a brighter shade of pink, so I bought Maybelline’s Pink Diamonds 102. It’s very pretty. The pink shade is lovely and it has a lot of shine, but after just a few days of wearing it, I started wanting one with in even brighter pink. It can be an over the top 80′s kind of shade.

Half a year ago I had never even worn lipstick, now I fear I’m starting to develop an obsession. I wear lip stick all the time. Even when I look like shit and I only show myself in public to pick up the mail.
