Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Fashion designer Michael Kors declared that he has never worked with pastels in his entire life: he has always found them insipid. But this year he said he was inspired to take on pastels in a spring, urban setting. The color palette is a mix of lovely pale blues, violets and mint greens, with some harder edged black pieces. It’s a gorgeous, youthful and yet elegant collection.

As we see many collections of Spring/Summer 2010 on NY Fashion Week displayed bold colors and one of the fashion designers who goes on another way is Michael Kors. He saw next Spting/Summer 2010 in neutral pastel colors: cold hues, fresh mix, white, blue, grey, silver, subdued pink, tender blue, lilac and pistachio.

Models came in Spring/Summer collection by Michael Kors were dressed in silver crease lame, draped jersey, crumpled techno taffeta, leather gloves.

The designer made appearance interesting by using zippers and zigzaggs around the body of a mint green asymmetric-neckline, or with bold cut-outs on cocktail dresses.

But all is in balance with simple shapes and controlled effects.
