Retro Vintage Clothing by Rag and Bone

Rag and Bone have had a pivotal moment in the year 2010 with their first ever women’s fashion show. David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, partners have been designing mostly men’s clothing but since the year 2005, they have been involved in women’s clothing as well. However, 2010 was the first year when the duo presented their first even women’s collection on their own. This was an ambitious move on their part, but one which definitely paid of well. Even more, this had also been their strongest show to date with their classic, chic retro vintage clothing.

Retro Vintage Clothing – Cool and Classic

The Rag and Bone first ever women’s show had all been about cool and classic retro vintage clothing with their chic separates, the right accessories topped with the right attitude. The look created by them on the runway had been inspired by the English men who had climbed the Mount Everest in tweed during the twenties. The first one on stage had been a blue plaid shirt with a gray waistcoat, paired with a knit kilt. The belt had three small pouches which were just the right size for credit cards, blackberry and an iPhone. This had been the right accessories for the modern day women and perfect for the modern, downtown women across the world.

Plans for Next Fall in their Retro Vintage Clothing Line

Rag and Bone already have a few ideas about their next fall collection which can be something like cuffed shorts, hoodie cardigan and a tweed jacket or maybe even a white shirtdress along with a sweater. This paired with a long scarf would be a very feminine and flirty look. The outerwear would be a patchwork poncho, a waterproof parka, fur trimmed hood along with camouflage anorak. The duo are always interested in amazingly technical fabrics and the accessories that they had included in their retro vintage clothing had been hiking boots, legwarmers, knit sacks, backpacks, bolo ties and others which are must haves for every urban girl.
